Boom and North Carolina Celebrate the Future of Supersonic Flight\xa0

Yesterday, Boom announced the completion of construction on the Overture Superfactory, the first supersonic airliner factory in the U.S. To commemorate this milestone toward the return of supersonic air travel,\xa0Boom was joined by North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper and several local, state, and federal officials at a\xa0special Superfactory ribbon-cutting event.\xa0

"As the state that was first in flight, North Carolina is excited to see Boom's progress toward delivering the world’s first sustainable supersonic airliner," said Governor Roy Cooper. "Our state has the skilled workforce, infrastructure and perfect location to help Boom revolutionize air travel."
