\xa0 Hey everyone! \xa0 I am once again looking for some interesting podcasts to check out so if you have any recommendations please let me know. My recommendation is an episode of Search Engine from a couple months back called “Should this creepy search engine exist?”about the end of privacy and the rise of unregulated facial search engines. \xa0 On that happy note (lol) enjoy your weekend! \xa0 - Jeff |

\xa0 A pioneer of photorealism in street art, Magee's recent work has become increasingly blurred and abstracted. The new deconstructed images explore the uneasy relationship between photography and painting — how painting technique contributes to narrative and allegory; how something as simple as a brush stroke can become central to the story within a still image. The paintings also explore the Magee's relationship with Architecture, incorporating glass patterns from Queenslander homes. Glass is a common feature of Magee's home region and a reference the artist's childhood, his connection with home, place and the built environment while also exploring the social and physical isolation of Australia's suburbs and urbanisation. \xa0 Born and based in Burgos, a small city in northern Spain, Esteban studied fine art and has a master's degree in ceramics. Some of her influences include artists Frida Kahlo and Louise Bourgeois, traditional Japanese prints and modern Asian advertisements, as well as “all the information I consume on social media like Instagram or Pinterest.” Esteban's broad interests and disciplines has helped her to develop a wider point of view.\xa0 |
