If you want your classic car to win a prestigious award, fundamentally, there are two ways of accomplishing that. You can pour all of your free time, perhaps too much of your money, gobs of elbow grease, buckets of sweat equity, a couple of busted knuckles, and an ear-scalding list of cuss words into making it victorious. Or you can just buy one that’s a known winner, such as\xa0this 1971 Chevrolet Corvette convertible, which has received the NCRS (National Corvette Restorers Society) Top Flight award – twice.

Pick of the Day: 1972 Buick GS Stage 1
The winner of\xa0“Most Improved Car for 1970” must have been the Buick GS 455 with the Stage 1 engine, but 1970 was but one year. It is listed for sale on\xa0ClassicCars.com\xa0by a dealership in Reading, Pennsylvania.\xa0\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Pick of the Day: 2007 Cadillac XLR-V
The\xa0Pick of the Day\xa0is a\xa02007 Cadillac\xa0XLR-V\xa0listed by a New York dealership. In one of its 1976 brochures, Cadillac called its Eldorado convertible the “Last of the Breed” and warned readers, “It is the only convertible now built in America – and it will not be repeated in 1977.” Sure enough,\xa0the ’77 Eldorado brochure\xa0doesn’t show a drop-top, but its predecessor wasn’t the last of its kind for long. Cadillac released a newer\xa0Eldorado Biarritz Convertible\xa0in 1984.
