If you’re familiar with Frida, you know our mission is to prepare parents for the unfiltered realities of parenthood - including the very delicate physical transformation into motherhood.
As Founder and CEO, I can attest that one of the most notable challenges we face is in how to authentically educate women and prospective parents about their reproductive journey in a way that is genuinely helpful.
That’s because we - and over 70 other women’s health brands - are subject to online censorship every day, whether we’re showing a lactating boob or postpartum bodies. This is a disheartening reality especially in light of a recent consumer survey we conducted, substantiating that 72% of women want women’s health education that is authentic and uncensored.
So we're stepping in. Today I'm proud to share the launch of\xa0Frida Uncensored\xa0– a platform that offers uncensored, unfiltered sexual health education and how-to instructional videos for women going through these pivotal life stages.
We’re also partnering with the Center for Intimacy Justice to help evolve the limitations that we and other brands face when it comes to advertising products made for women. Because women deserve better, more accessible education about their own bodies.
Our ambition is that our platform will become a library of relevant, authentic educational content that women can rely on when it comes to women’s health and reproductive products and experiences, just as they’ve come to rely on our products. \xa0
We know this platform won't be for everyone. And that’s okay!
