Given that watchmaking in the Glashütte region celebrates its 175th anniversary this year, it feels quite fitting that Nomos would celebrate this cultural milestone with a demonstration of its penchant for funky color worked dials, but the extent to which it would go is a bit of a fun surprise. Today, the brand launches its latest experiment on its Tangente 38 Date – a series comprised of 31 different dial color combinations limited to 175 units of each model. \xa0 Each model is housed in the dressy 37.5mm stainless steel case with thin, elongated lugs that are typical Nomos, and the printed typeface and dial layout speak to the brand's signature Bauhaus-inspired minimalist design. The center seconds subdial rests above the six o'clock position, right above the aforementioned oversized date window, and is crafted in a color that either complements or dramatically contrasts with the other colored elements. |
