Turning ‘Impossible’ into ‘I’m Possible’

This is a mindset I’ve subscribed to through my journey in recovery, that yesterday is a memory and tomorrow is not guaranteed, that today is the day we get to stay the course, to work towards our goals, to be the greatest friend, Father, Mother, Brother, Sister, partner, etc... I believe in this with my full being, I am not, and you are not where you are today without chipping away one day at a time… And if you feel like you are not where you want to be, that's okay too… but you have the opportunity to take action now… Sometimes just a little push is all we need to move the mountain we see as impossible to summit.\xa0
We are all given the same 24 hours… I couldn’t fathom getting through to the other side of my addiction, I didn’t think it was possible… I was incredibly wrong, and today I share my story of defying ALL ODDS (that I had created in my head) of getting sober, and building a life I am proud of. I tell this story in detail on this week's episode of\xa0The Rich Roll Podcast- So if you have any time over the holiday weekend and want to know more about my journey, give it a listen. I have been incredibly humbled by the outpouring of people reaching out to share their stories with me this week after the episode dropped on Monday.\xa0
A big part of launching Kreatures Of Habit, was to be of service to others suffering in addiction through sharing my story.\xa0 That maybe my vulnerability could bring hope to others who are standing in the shoes I once stood in nearly 20 years ago.\xa0 Yes, we sell great wellness products, and we are a for-profit business, but there is an underlying mission at KOH, and we are making an impact… In the last 3 months, we have fully sponsored and funded 4 addicts into long-term treatment.\xa0 We will continue to raise money and awareness over the years to come.\xa0 If you are reading this, you are a part of that mission, whether you know it or not, can relate to it or not… I am beyond grateful for the KOH community, you keep supporting us, we keep supporting them.\xa0
