This Earth Day we wanted to share a little bit about how we use the entire lobster to reduce or eliminate as much waste as possible. Here is the breakdown (no pun intended!): 🦞 Of course, we use the prize claw and knuckle meat in our lobster rolls sold in ourshacks across the countryand ingrocery stores nationwide. 🦞 The leg and body meat is picked and added to some of our grocery products, like Lobster Ravioli and Lobster Bisque, for added flavor. 🦞 Whole lobster tails are separated and sold in grocery stores and on ourOnline Market. 🦞 Lobster glycoproteins, which are what help lobsters regenerate claws, are added to our partner,Marin's,innovative skincare products to help with dry or eczema-prone skin. 🦞 The lobster shell is separated, crushed, and dried to be added to plant fertilizer to help nurture soil and kill nematodes. 🦞 Anything else we can use or sell is sent to local farms as compost.
