Ashton PipesThe Ashton name is synonymous with high-quality smoking instruments. The English brand's dedication to precise shaping and expressive finishing work is on full display in 12 new pipes available on-site today. Though Ashton's work primarily comprises pipes of a timeless, classical style, today's selection includes pieces from two of the workshop's boldest designations, the LX and ELX. These extra-large pipes include an ELX paneled Billiard with the rare Achievement designation, an extremely long LX Billiard in the Brindle finish, and a smooth ELX Sovereign Dublin with a generous band of silver. All are presented alongside a variety of more modestly sized pipes in the Old Church, Brindle, and Pebble Grain sandblasted finishes. | |
Nanna Ivarsson PipesCombining artistry with exemplary craftsmanship, Nanna Ivarsson pipes elevate the Ivarsson family's rich pipe-making legacy. Today's two new pipes from Nanna showcase her affinity for gorgeous smooth finishes and tasteful accents, comprising a striking Tomato accented with boxwood and a bent Apple accented with boxwood. |
Becker PipesThird-generation Italian pipe maker Federico Becker has a refined and distinctive style, one defined by lithe proportions and sleek line work. Three new pipes today illustrate Federico's elegant shaping, including two crisply sandblasted Billiards — one bent and one straight — and a smooth Dublin bearing Becker's Royal Flush grade. |
Ken Dederichs PipesStylistically, Ken Dederichs approaches pipe making through a German/Austrian lens, with strong Danish styling and modern proportions. His artistic flair promotes an aesthetic all his own, as evidenced in today's two selections: a partially sandblasted Shield with a smooth front face and bamboo shank extension, and a smooth, subtly asymmetrical Volcano. |
Rocky Patel: Dark StarHandmade at the El Paraiso factory in Honduras, Rocky Patel's Dark Star cigar boasts a Honduran Corojo wrapper, a Mexican binder, and Nicaraguan and Honduran filler tobaccos. Part of the filler consists of tobacco from Paraguay that's grown in Honduras. Paraguayan tobacco is rarely used in cigars and contributes a rich complexity to the Dark Star blend. |
