Happy Bridgerton Weekend to All Who Celebrate!

Part two of Bridgerton season three is finally out and if you’re anything like me, you’ve basically been waiting for this moment since season two dropped two years and three months ago. Yes, I will be canceling all my plans and ignoring my family while I’m holed up with a giant bag of Boom Chicka Pop and a chilled bottle of my favoriteLa Crema Sauvi Bin my coziest cozies with the AC blasting while I take in all that is Colin and Penelope’s friends-to-lovers romance. Rumor has it they broke a piece of furniture filming one of the NSFW scenes so... don’t call, don’t text. I’m busy.

It’s fair to say historical romance is my favorite book genre interspersed with a good amount of modern day romance(ahem Carly Fortune’s latest)and fantasy romance (lookin’ at youSarah J. Maas). What can I say? I love love.\xa0

So after falling in love with Bridgerton after season one, I was not so patiently waiting for season two and decided to pick up the book series and find out what was in store. Now that I have read books 2-7 and most of 9 (I had to skip Gregory’s because it was impossible for me to not picture him as the young actor he is on the show, so that’s going to have to wait), I will say the show deviates significantly from the books.\xa0

So if you binge season 3 this weekend, I highly recommend reaching for the book series. Although I have to disagree withthis writerand where she placed Francesca’s! I would have ranked it MUCH higher.
