I Took Down My Box Braids & Lived To Tell The Tale

I took my braids out last weekend, please clap! Of all the beauty rituals I engage in, this is the one I both loathe and fear but with the right products, tools, and entertainment I can absolutely get it done. This time around I queued up Club Shay Shay with Mo’Nique (has anyone else watched her eldest son’s response video? As the child of a negligent parent, I felt that!) and got to work. My reward is a trip to the salon this weekend for a trim and a blowout. The curtain bangs are once again back, baby! I’m still on the hunt for the right stylist to make my microbob dreams come true.
