Studies show that stress changes the body. It can make your memory worse, cause trouble with sleep, and even give you acne. And being stressed for long periods of time (a.k.a. chronic stress) is even worse. I was recently talking with a wellness-minded coworker about the small moments she takes in her day to help mitigate stress, like going on a walk—yes, that’s technically earthing—and making sure she gets some direct sunlight.
So instead of stressing out about your stress, try to make one small change in your life this week. For me, that’s exploring the world of functional fragrances. Because if smelling good can actually lower my anxiety, that’s a match made in beauty-wellness heaven.
