With designers deconstructing the corporate power uniform and reinventing the classicle smoking, we saw shirts galore on the runways, including a few even styled back-to-front. Then there was the arrival of Chemena Kamali at Chloé; the new designer at the house of the blouse claims to have 600 or 700 vintage examples in her possession. Charles Sebline is another true believer in the button-down shirt. Mark Holgate caught up with the Yves Saint Laurent-trained designer to talk about collars, cuffs, and the stitch work that elevates his button-downs well beyond the ordinary.
